OUR STORY

Cats of Chase is a small,  privately run cat rescue that started as an attempt to trap, neuter, and return (TNR) as many of the stray cats living at the Chase Bank building as possible.  From there, we grew into an actual adoption organization.  Since we started in the spring of 2021, we have taken in and adopted out over 200 cats,  just working out of a backyard!

We take in cats of all ages and backgrounds, from kittens to seniors, and provide them with love, care and the medical attention they need. Our cats come from all walks of life, from strays to owner surrenders. We believe that all cats deserve a chance to find a loving home. That’s why we make sure that all our cats are happy and healthy before they can be adopted.

Along with rescue and adoption, we are passionate about spaying and neutering to reduce the overpopulation of stray animals. Every season we are inundated with kittens because of the lack of spay/neuter programs available to our area. To help combat this issue, we strive to educate the public and assist in getting owners' cats spayed and neutered.

We bring our cats to the Magnolia Spay Neuter Clinic in Alexandria bi-monthly to be spayed and neutered and received their rabies vaccine. We often bring 20-25 cats at a time. We have begun offering spots to the community on these trips for their personal cats. These trips are announced on our Facebook and spots fills up quickly.
