Low Cost Spay/Neuter
We make bi-monthly trips to Magnolia Spay Neuter Clinic in Alexandria for our rescue cats. Any spots that we have extra of, we offer to the local community. These spots are extremely limited and we typically announce them 2 weeks prior tp the appointment. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required o hold your spot. The rest is due at the time of drop-off. Here's how it works:

The night before the appointment you'll drop your cat(s) off to us between 5 and 7 pm in their own carriers.

We house them overnight and transport them to their appointment the next morning.

When we get back to Lake Charles from their appointment, you'll be contacted to arrange pick-up (usually between 3 and 5 pm)

Please note that cats cannot stay an additional night unless prior arrangements are made
TNR
Through Magnolia Spay Neuter Clinic we are also able to assist in helping spay and neuter local feral cats. This program is called Trap-Neuter-Return or TNR. In order to take advantage of this program you must be able to return the cat(s) to the area they came from.
The feral cat package includes surgical sterilization (male or female), a rabies vaccine, and an ear tip. The ear tip is a small cut made across the tip of the left ear. This helps differentiate a sterilized animal from an intact animal without the need of physical exam.
Same as the owned cats, drop off is the night before. We realize many of these cats are not able to be handled by humans. Go to the TNR request form to request help with trapping .
